Chinas retail sales of textiles and garments in Dec, 2024

China's retail sales value of consumer goods totaled 4.5172 trillion Yuan in Dec 2024, up 3.7% year on year. In Jan-Dec 2024, the cumulative retail sales of consumer goods amounted to 48.7895 trillion Yuan, up 3.5% year on year.

In Dec 2024, the retail value of apparel, shoes, hats, knitwear and textiles of enterprises above designated size was 162.94 billion yuan, down 0.3% year on year. In Jan-Dec, the cumulative retail sales of apparel, shoes, hats, knitwear and textiles above designated size totaled 1469.05 billion yuan, up 0.3% year-on-year.

In Dec 2024, the retail value of apparel goods of enterprises above designated size was 122.86 billion yuan, up 0.4% year-on-year. From January to December, the cumulative retail value of apparel was 1071.62 billion yuan, up by 0.1% year-on-year.
