According to data released by the General Administration of Customs on the 12th, China's total import and export value in June was 2561.85 billion yuan, an increase of 3.2% over the previous year (the same below). Among them, exports of 1453.52 billion yuan, an increase of 6.1%, and imports of 1108.33 billion yuan, a decrease of 0.4%. After seasonal adjustment, the gross import and export value increased by 7.9% in June, of which exports increased by 10.3% and imports by 4.8%. Experts believe that China's foreign trade has been steadily upgraded, product mix has been continuously optimized, regional diversification is in good shape, and foreign trade data materials are stable as a whole.

Lian Ping, chief economist of the Bank of Communications, predicts that the trade surplus may narrow in the second half of the year, but the diversification of China's import and export market has developed steadily, and the foreign trade data are stable as a whole.

"In the next stage, the General Administration of Customs will continue to promote the steady improvement of foreign trade." Li Kuiwen, spokesman for the General Administration of Customs and Director of Statistics and Analysis Department, said that the following tasks should be focused on: first, to speed up the promotion of trade facilitation; second, to support cross-border e-commerce to achieve better development; third, to do a good job in system innovation and replication promotion of free trade pilot zones; fourth, to vigorously promote the diversification of export markets; and fifth, to promote the diversification of export markets.
